Version 2.36 9/2/2014

-- New - Favorites Menu.  File+Favorites. Add or remove the current document to the favorites list, or open a file in the list.

I added a new menu under the File menu, Favorites.  You can add any saved document you are working on to the Favorites list.

To add a file to the Favorites list:

1) Open or create your document

2) Be sure you have saved it

3) Click File+Favorites+Add to add it to the list.

If you have already added it to the Favorites list and you now want to remove it from the list:

1) Open your saved file

2) Click File+Favorites+Remove to remove it from the list

To open a Favorites file: Click File+Favorites+[File Name]

If you delete a file then try to open it from the Favorites list,  T4 will give you the option to remove it from the list.

Hi BH,

in T3 - Find and Replace, you have more options than T4. Example:
1. Match Whole Word Only
2. Format - Bold, Underline, Italics, Strikeout

I would like to know if you can add them to T4
I use T3 mainly for making plain text, I also use T4 - remove format, but it is not like the plain text I want.

thank you for this awesome tool I use almost everyday.

First - the formatting in T3 only applied to the Replace function.  It did not search for the formatting.

Searching whole word can be useful.  The Find in T4 is faster particularly in large documents than T3.  But T4 has a Multi-line Find and Replace function which is much more powerful than T3's Find and Replace.  It does have the "hooks" to apply formatting on replace, but they are not exposed to the end user at this time.  T4's function also works with Unicode much more easily than T3's.

Hi Brent,

What is the correct codepoint format to input in the settings 'FixupA codepoints'. Just as an example, what would it be for Hebrew.

Thanks

Jon

The default for the custom fixup is Hebrew.  The Hebrew codepoints are:  1424>1535,64286>64335'

This means 1424, 1425, 1426, ... 1535, 64286, 64287, 64288, ...  64335.

Thanks.

I can see where I went wrong. I had put a hexadecimal value there by mistake.....
