I am using e-sword 10.1.0.  When I perform a search in Hebrew HOT or Interlinear the Hebrew text on either side of the search root word will reverse on the sides of the search paste.  What can I do?

See attached.

hi

this is a good question. I could only think that it is the module or the function of the search.

Please does someone else have a better answer.

thanks

Try pasting into Word.

It may be a problem with the esword editor.

It pastes well in Word without issue.  I would prefer to use the e-sword editor as it maintains the scripture links though.  It does not matter which Hebrew version is searched.  It always reverses the Hebrew text around the root of the word.

The control used to display text (www.textcontrol.com) is NOT 100% right-to-left text compatible.  I've battled this problem in T4, and there is no simple fix.

I understand completely.  I started two development companies.  We used a considerable number of libraries that did the underlying leg work so to speak.  There are always some draw backs, but their use is quite necessary.

THANKS!!

Just to clarify, I believe that e-Sword uses a different control for Bibles then it does for Topic files.  Topic files, use the TextControl object which is not 100% right-to-left.  The Bible window I think is using the Microsoft RichEdit object.
