I have e-Sword v6.5 installed on Android 14 Pixel 6a.

I have the e-Sword PC module Conversion Utility v4.2.0 installed on Win11.

I have used the Module converter to convert study.notx to study.noti so that I can import that file into my Android e-Sword.

After import, my notes look like this on my phone (see attachment photo).

Can I fix this, or did I do something wrong?

Blessings,

Tony

Hi Tony,

Your best option is to email Rick Meyers about it, and include that image in the email.

I gotta admit, I ain't seen or even experienced anything like that before. Its a real doozy.

Blessings,

When I reached out to Rick on this issue, he informed me that the spacing line was messed up.

He requested the database file so he could take a look at it.

I just sent him the database, and I am waiting for a reply.

~ Update ~

This is what Rick said,

"It looks like the problem is occurring in the conversion utility as the HTML is being displayed properly in e-Sword Android.  The both notes (Mat 2:11; Jhn 1:7), where it begins with the smashed text the paragraph is defined with a super tight line height which affects the spacing: "line-height:6pt;"."

Rick told me how to fix this problem and the fix does work.

Rick said,
"You can fix it. In the PC e-Sword, visit those notes which have the weird line spacing and fix it. Select all of the note's text (CTRL+A) then click on the Paragraph formatting button on the editor's middle toolbar.  Set the "Line Spacing" field to "Single".  Even if it already says Single, select it again.  Now Save the note."
