More than 2 yrs. have passed since the last post on this, but I'm adding to it because as of now (with version 11.2.2), the HTML versions of e-Sword still aren't as stable under CrossOver (same with Wine?) as, say, version 10.4, the last non-HTML version. The most important aspects of the program do work. The lack of stability is more annoying than anything else (such as brief visual glitches every time one advances a verse by using F12, or the inability to adjust fonts. This is with Linux Mint 19.1, Cinnamon. So some might still want to download 10.4, depending on the resources one uses.
Nothing against APsit190, but uptodown.com (see link above) doesn't have the best safety reviews. download82.com also has the file & I found no bad reviews on it. I did an online virus check on their e-Sword file & it passed that test, so here's the link for anyone who wants it:

As of the date of this writing, download82 has versions 10.4 & 10.2.1.
Blessings!
