Hi All,

In the strongs dictionary window for a particular greek word - let's use G1753 for example.  At the bottom of the definition it says "Total KJV occurrences: 8".    See attachment.

How can I get a list of what those 8 verses (or occurrences) are?    Is there an add-on module for this kind of thing or can this be done with the 'stock' package. ?

Thanks

There is King James concordance(KJC by the e-Sword downloads) or KJC with Thayer (here)

http://www.biblesupp...h-kjv-analysis/

But there is a problem with the numbers: 10 instead of 8.

Modern Literal Version Concordance, Dictionary & Lexicon 2016 Beta has the number correct (Look to the TR).

Keep in your mind that there are differences between the Stephanus Textus Receptus 1550 (TRi) and the Byzantine/Majority Text (2005)

And between the TR versions;

Another way is using a Bible with strong numbers and type by search for example G1753

Another way is using a Bible with strong numbers and type by search for example G1753

And to add,  when searching by either Hebrew or Greek Strong's number, you actually get a better and a more accurate picture of how a specific word is used, due to that one word in English can have multiple Strong numbers indicating the variation of the meanings, etc.

Very easy to do.

1. Open up the Bible Search Window. The Binoculars at the top Left of the main menu bar

2. In The Search Window change the Bible version you want to search to KJV+

3. In the drop down box to the left of that, enter your Greek -or- Hebrew Strong's Number, surrounded by angled brackets.

<G1753>

4. Hit the ENTER key or click on the Binoculars at the far right of the search window.

You should get the results you want.

Hope this helps.
