There are a small number of Bible Harmony modules available on Bible Support these modules were created as harx modules for use with e-Sword for PCs versions 9-14. As there is no html module format for harmony modules the harx modules cannot be used with e-Sword 15.
I have converted each module to an refi reference module for use in the reference library in e-Sword 15. These modules will work with the Android, Apple and Mac versions of e-Sword as e-Sword for PCs versions 11-14

Hey guy's
Way awhile back there was a way to use an audio bible such as from Firefighters.or and you could have a chapter and verse open and it would play the specific passage you had open.
I have long forgotten how to make this work, can anyone help me to make this work again?
Thank you.
e-Sword has built in Audio Bible feature that is available a limited number of bible translations the bible audio is provided from a web called Faith comes by Hearing. The translations that can be listened to on e-Sword are KJV, KJV-BRG, ESV, CEV, WEB, NRSV, and Spanish PDT Bibles. The audio bible feature works when you have one of the translations selected in e-Sword which will activate the play button in the bible window
I am not sure about the bible that say is from Firefighters but that might have been an audio module that someone created for use with e-Sword

I wanted to upload a file for these special letters, used for the French, German, Portuguese and Spanish languages, which you can put in your Topic folder, and make quick print of, but Bible Support will not allow me to upload a *.noti file.
The Moderator Tj Higgins had promised me that the webmaster, Josh Bond, would have this fixed, even before the website is converted to use only the protocol https:// access instead of the http:// protocol. But this is not working.
I am 80 years old today --- must I wait another 40 years before this website is updated?
Olaf,
Josh needs to add noti to the list of uploadable file types for this as you said I have already contacted him about making the change.

I tried when I made the original post but it kept marking me as spam, so I gave up.
Trying to attach a couple here.

I wanted to create a Bible + Commentary Module for my personal use in Bible Study, but I found out the current tool to do so was a little outdated and had almost no documentation or tutorials available online. So, I started creating my Module with the assistance of AI through Google´s free AI ecosystem.I´m currently using Antigravity 2.0 + the Gemini 3.7 Flash model while talking to the Agent. After creating the new project, giving the AI the source file in PDF format and prompting the Agent exactly what I needed, Gemini created a Python script that:- Reads the PDF and does the data parsing and cleanup.- Outputs it into clean, semantic HTML according to e-Sword's expected chapter/verse markup.- Creates and structures an SQLite database matching the exact schema requirements for an e-Sword Bible (.bbli) or Commentary (.cmti)- Inserts the HTML-formatted text into the correct tables (Book, Chapter, Verse or commentary equivalent).- Exports the final file with the appropriate file extension. Generates and packages the files directly into C:\ProgramData\e-Sword where the Modules reside so you can preview every step right on e-Sword.I am creating my Module book by book so I can manually review what Gemini has created and correct any formatting issues across the whole Module at once asking the Agent to fix them using simple everyday language and letting the AI handle any technical details (Please note I am not a software engineer or developer). After spending some time adjusting the formatting for the book of Matthew, Gemini uses this knowledge as guidelines while creating subsequent books, so the book of Mark was successfully created in under 20 minutes. Is anyone else using AI workflows when creating Modules? Would you mind sharing your experience with me?
If it is possible could you post a few screen shots of what you are doing?

Where can we find Apple modules, please? Are they on here?
Android, Apple and Mac modules are in html format. Each html module type has a file extension that ends in the letter "i" as listed below:
Most of the modules available here on Bible Support have been converted to the above formats and are available for download from a modules download page. The download page for each module displays the various versions of each module that can be downloaded you need to selected the html format module with the file extension that ends in the letter "i"

Hi All,Were we ever able to copy verses from a parallel view on previous versions? The latest version, 15.2.0, doesn't allow this. When I right-click -> copy, the popup window comes up without the bible verses. I could be wrong as it's been a while so I could definitely be wrong. I just started an online Bible study course and hoping to use e-Sword again. Thanks!~ Bill
Yes you can copy verses from both the parallel and compare windows by highlighting the verse and then right clicking the mouse. Right clicking the mouse will open a small menu where copy is one of the options.

There have been two small changes to Bible Support over the last couple of days.
1. Bible Dictionaries have been reorganized with all non-English dictionary modules being moved a new dictionary subcategory called Foreign Languages. Presently there are ten modules in this new subcategory
2. Bible Reading Plans: All of the Bible Reading Plans on Bible Support have been converted to html modules which is the brpi module file format. This allows the reading plans to be used on Android, Apple, MAC and e-Sword PC versions 11-15+. Also available are the older format brpx module files which can be used on e-Sword PC versions 9-14

Going through the e-Sword 15.x changes, it looks like e-Sword has dropped support for STEP resources.
AFAIK, e-Sword was the last Bible software program to support that file format. A format that was unofficially killed circa 2002.
And the following is no more
* mapx Map/Graphic: Bye Bye Graphics Modules.
Are the following module types gone, or can end-users no longer create them?
- .anlx Analyse Verse
- .harx: Harmony
- .lexx: Lexicon
- .lanx: Locale
- .ovlx: Mark-up Overlay
- .prlx: Prayer Lists
- .memx: Scripture Memory
- .illx: Sermon Illustrations
- .dic: Spelling Dictionaries
- .the: Thesaurus
- .tip: TIP: .tip
- .lstx Verse Lists, including its special case _bookmarks.lstx_
The older file formats list above can still be used with e-Sword versions 14 and earlier back to version 9

With the recent release of e-Sword 15 and that fact that uses html modules only users may need to convert older modules downloaded from Bible Support to html from rtf format
The e-Sword Module Converter is the tool for this job and is easy to use. The menu across the top of the convert has four functions Type, Module, Clean Up Formatting and Convert.
The Type function is a drop down menu that lists the module type alphabetically:
Bible
Commentary
Devotional
Dictionary
Journal Notes
Read Plan
Reference Book
Study Notes
Topic Notes
Important Note: The module converter can not convert Graphics/Maps modules (mapx) as there is not html module format for Graphics/Maps
From this list you can select the type of module you wish to convert
The Module function has an open filed folder icon button, clicking this will allow you to navigate to the location of the module you want to convert. You should make sure your module files are not in a folder that is note write protected. If your modules are located in C:\ProgramFile(x86)\e-Sword the converted modules will not write to this folder as it is a protected folder this folder was used by e-Sword PC versions prior to version 15. e-Sword 15 creates a new installation location for user files called C:\ProgramData\e-Sword, this folder is not write protected and modules will write to this folder
With the module selected all you need to do is click convert and the conversion will begin. If you are converting a topx file to refi file the program will prompt for a title for the new refi module
The Cleanup Formatting function has checkbox next to that you can choose to check or uncheck, leaving it checked will result in the conversion cleaning up any formatting issues.

As a reminder, the newly released e-Sword 15 for Windows, is designed for modules that are in html format only.
The older rtf format modules will not work with e-Sword 15 these modules are the ones with file extensions that end in the letter "x" such as bblx for bible modules
Here are the html formats for each module type:

To All Bible Support Members,
The spam attack that began on the site on Friday and continued throughout the weekend, is now continuing today. Myself and other moderators on this site are working has fast we can to remove the spam postings and block the spam accounts being created on the site.
Since Friday more then 6000 spam posts have removed Bible Support and over 200 spam accounts have been flagged and banned from the site.
Bible Support owner Josh Bond is aware of the ongoing attack on the site and he is working on a solution to the spamming.
Again the spam posts are being removed as fast as possible which is not easy given how fast they the posts keep appearing.
No uploads have been affected by the spam posts

continuously deleting the posts but still they keep popping up. need to tighten the member registration form security and posting forms. may be better to use some difficult to crack captchas.
There is clearly some type of automation or AI involved given how fast the posts are popping up. Bible Support is not alone in these attacks, last night I googled the subject line of some the posts and found on many other websites.
