I'm new to this whole thing but find the resources excellent and use them on a regular basis. Now I have an Ipad I make notes on individual verses and would like to transfer such notes to my PC and vice versa. Apart from emailing individual verses, I cannot see a way of sharing my own notes between my different installations. Anyone solved this issue?

Developing the idea further, with so much emphasis upon Cloud storage, is this something that developers might contemplate or is it too big a job?

Thanks

Check out the latest converter on esword.net site.  It was updated yesterday.  Study notes can now be converted.  It is a one way conversion. PC to Ipad only.

Hi Mike,

The problem which exists between e-Sword for PC and e-Sword for iOS is that the file formats between them are incompatible. For some reason or another Rick Meyers has been unable to make the e-Sword for PC files work in e-Sword for iOS (these include e-Sword HD and LT). From memory he reckons that the Text Controls he uses for e-Sword HD & LT does not recognise the rtf coding or has real difficulties with it. And its for this reaason that format conversion from one device to another is pretty restrictive. In other words, I think its a lot easier to convert from e-Sword for PC to iOS than it is to convert from e-Sword for iOS to PC.

I don't know if this is of any help to you or not. That said, I would like to think that it would be far more simpler for Rick Meyers to completly ditch the Text controls that is currently being used on e-Sword for iOS, and get ones that are really rtf friendly.

Blessings,
