On the "Ad/PopUp"......

I've only had it appear one time....it was during the time I was using the Ref. Window.

I got the advertising just after the install of the new e-Sword version, so I thought it was called from the install.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

All,
I got the same thing too when after installing e-Sword. Personally I dunno if its a good thing or not. That said, I think that it should be something optional to have and that an option should be given whether or not to have notifications popping up.

Any thoughts on it?

Blessings,

I updated to this new release this morning. I am seeing far fewer of my resources now than what I should. Anyone have any insight into why this might be? my journal entries entries seem to be up to date so it would seem that that area is still intact.
Anyone else seeing this issue?

You mention seeing "far fewer resources." Could you give some examples?

Far fewer commentaries? dictionaries? reference library?

I ran the update as I mentioned earlier. When I loaded esword I was missing bibles and commentaries as well as some dictionaries.
I tried to roll back the esword revision through windows uninstall but the two esword items there were versions prior to 10.0. I don't know why that would be.

I restored all my resources from my back up and downloaded the full install package. Everything seems to show up after running the full install.

With just the upgrade, what I can tell for sure is that 14 of the 35 bible translations that I had were missing when the install was complete. I didn't have a count of the other resources before and after though. I don't understand why this woud happen. the files that were missing all appear to be from programs folder as opposed to the documents/e-sword folder. Hopefully this is an isolated glitch, some interaction with another application on my system or something.
