This problem has just started.
My Topic editor is grayed out but both the Journal & Study editors work fine.
I have tried Ctrl + right click in topic but no good.
Did a reset of E-sword and even tried deleteing the topic folder so E-Sword would recreate it but no luck.
My next move seems to be to hit the delete key and reinstall E-sword? :(

Any help would be great

it seems the most obvious answer is the last one you try. i had deleted the e-sword .exe file and then reinstalled 10.0.5. but no change. was going to uninstall e-sword but looked at your reply first. :D Thanks. i guess i will blame it on the silverhair

A point of Interest. To create a new Topic Note file you need to have a an actual topic note active in the topic.topx file before you are able to Ctrl + Right click for the context menu to pop up and click on New.

I also recommend that when using The Topic Note editor, rather than using the topic.topx file, you actually create a new file giving it a unique file name. That way you know what your file is about. Just using e-Sword's default file name is not best practice.
