Beyond that, there is nothing else available.
An Opinion.
I think Rick not developing e-Sword for other platforms, such as Android Linux is a mistake. I think with the call for a refurbishment and reintroduction of Pocket e-Sword has been a very loud call, and I think it should be listened to.
But that is just my opinion, but one which many share.
Blessings,
Stephen (Php 1:21).

With MySword you can take sermon notes in the journal and you can also attach notes to Bible verses.
You can search the bible and all other add on modules, but only one module at a time. There is no extended search at this time.
I bring my tablet to church and even teach from it from time to time.
Your tablet has to have at least android 2.1 for MySword to run on it.
If you go to www.mysword.info, you can get more information and look at some screen shots.
MySword now has more features than pocket e sword did. I use it all the time and love it. Most of the e sword modules at this site can be migrated to MySword. Many already have and are available in the MySword downlaods area at www.biblesupport.com.
One thing to keep in mind with MySword is there are no premium modules available. Only public domain modules and copyrighted modules which either myself or MySword have gotten permission for are available.
Let me know if you have any more questions about MySword.
Blessings,
Peter

Your input is by finger or stylus so you might want to go to best buy and try one and see if you are going to be satisfied with that limitation.
An older unit like this you could look at on ebay and or lenovo's site is the S10-3t. If it catches your interest do some searchng to find newer offerings. Google for netvertibles.
There is also a rig (don't know model) that is an android as a tablet ,or you can slip the tablet into a frame on a keyboard unit and it will run windows 7.
Figure what you really want/need and snoop, you will probably find it.

You can also use usb or bluetooth keyboards if the tablet you buy has one or the other.
This is a tablet that boots android or windows 7 http://www.google.co...ved=0CGYQ8wIwAA
You might want to wait if you aren't in a hurry as there are going to be a new bunch of rigs that run windows 8 popping up someday.
Amazon has a tablet that is fairly awesome for 200 called the Le Pan. There is a Le Pan II due out in Febr. Amazon lists it as coming as does Best Buy. Just got one and of the tablets I've dealt with it is a dream but there may not be any upgrades to later android.

Hello,
Let me know if you have any more questions about MySword.
Pete,
About May next year I'll be getting an Android smart phone, probably a Samsung Galaxy (of which Samsung have a tablet device by the same name out also). So, with regard to which (Android) devices are compatible for MySword, is there a list of compatible devices you can access and put up here?
Blessings,
Stephen (Php 1:21).

I would think most anything that has the specs (if mysword has an requirments) would run it.
Have been reading of the kindle fire not being well accepted thus far so don't know about it.

Stephen,
I checked with MySword and they said that MySword should run on any android device with android OS 2.1 and up. There has been an exception with 2 users that have ZTE phones (not sure what those are) and for some android OS that are not official android releases but that have been "tweaked".
I have personally used MySword on 4 different android phones and one tablet and have not had any issues.
Blessings,
Peter
