How or can I download these great works in a zip file or other format?

You need a zip file utility such as WInzip or 7zip to open and extract the modules that are pack inside, once you extract the modules you can copy and paste them in your e-Sword directory

Well, in a sense, you really don't. It's helpful that you do, but since Windows 10 (or was it 8.1, although not certain) you were able to access zip files directly from Windows File Exploder (oops, I mean explorer), and drag and drop them to wherever you want them. This video shows how it's actually done.

 

Moreover, you can create a zip files in Windows File Explorer without a file compression tool such as Win Zip or something else. But the compression ratio pretty much sucks.

 

What is seen in the above videos pretty much works in Windows 11. So if that is your OS, then you shouldn't have an issue.
