Dear APsit190, Thank you for your comment.
However, please consider how effectively you personally apply the instruction in the following verses, and how you are able to thank God for the servant-leadership displayed by another specific person.
You see, if you are not able to tell God who you are referring to, and ask God to request his angels and his seven-fold spirit to specifically bless that person today for his/her good work, then how do you measure whether your prayers are answered?
Prayers are tremendously effective if you pray for a specific person, at a specific time, in a specific situation. Then you can expect a reply to occur within a recordable time frame. If you want more powerful results, then join up with more people, who can request the same results. But if the person is unknown, and no one is glorifying God because of his works, then he will die unknown, and his works will be quickly forgotten.
Matthew 5:16 (AFV) In the same way also, you are to let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father Who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16 (KJV) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
If you want to comment further, take it up with your God, please, and ask Him to show me more clearly how to implement His instruction, so that our works need to, and must, exemplify the pattern of good deeds, which were demonstrated by Jesus of Natzareth. The expected results are: "you must be perfect". We need to be able to thank God for that person, specifically, who is living by this standard, behind the scenes, day in and day out, and his works will live long after him.
