Just to let everyone on the site know, someone has been doing quite a job converting modules on this site into the formats used by Android, Apple and MAC devices. Nearly all of the Bible, Commentary, Devotional, Dictionary Modules are now available in the Apple/MAC/Android files formats. The only categories not fully converted are the reference (refx) and topic (topx) modules and modules that are not in English

Thanks to who ever has been doing this it is a huge asset to e-Sword users on all devices

Well, well, well. That has to be fantastic news.Perhaps one of the best pieces news I've heard of what has happened on this site for a long time.

So, total credits to the person who has been silently working behind the scenes for accomplishing this mammoth task. Mate, that's gotta be AMAZING!!! You know, as in like a WOW kind of a thingy.

So, with that, God bless that person tons, stacks, heaps, oodles, and lots.

And from me...

Hey Olaf, you know, I (and perhaps many others) prefer the mystery of the person rather than being told who it was. What you did just totally ruined it. Moreover, I do not think that Bill wanted you to trumpet his name and tell all in sundry that he did the work. At times you need to be a bit more introspective and discerning about others rather than telling everyone about it

Dear APsit190, Thank you for your comment.
However, please consider how effectively you personally apply the instruction in the following verses, and how you are able to thank God for the servant-leadership displayed by another specific person.
You see, if you are not able to tell God who you are referring to, and ask God to request his angels and his seven-fold spirit to specifically bless that person today for his/her good work, then how do you measure whether your prayers are answered?

Prayers are tremendously effective if you pray for a specific person, at a specific time, in a specific situation. Then you can expect a reply to occur within a recordable time frame. If you want more powerful results, then join up with more people, who can request the same results. But if the person is unknown, and no one is glorifying God because of his works, then he will die unknown, and his works will be quickly forgotten.

Matthew 5:16  (AFV)  In the same way also, you are to let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

Matthew 5:16  (KJV)  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

If you want to comment further, take it up with your God, please, and ask Him to show me more clearly how to implement His instruction, so that our works need to, and must, exemplify the pattern of good deeds, which were demonstrated by Jesus of Natzareth. The expected results are: "you must be perfect". We need to be able to thank God for that person, specifically, who is living by this standard, behind the scenes, day in and day out, and his works will live long after him.

Well Olaf, I won't be commenting any further on here as it not the appropriate part, but rather carry on with it either on my Theological Rants Blog page here, or at the Theological Discussions part of this sight.

OK, the way I usually do it, is download a file using my Desktop PC onto a pen drive, and then from my pen drive move it onto my tablet.

Hope that help you.

Blessings,

Stephen (Php 1:21).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus was launched 2022, April 14. This device runs the Platform Operating system Android 12, One UI 4.1
The access to the Google Play Store comes pre-installed on all Samsung smartphones. The Play Store app is usually located on your home screen but can also be found through your apps. On some devices the Play Store will be in a folder labelled Google.

joyjosiah777, when you find the module on biblesupport.com that you want to download to your device, please make sure the fourth letter of the file type in the file name, is the letter "i". If the file type (the letters after the period in the file name) has the letter "x", as the fourth letter in the name, then those modules were specially formatted to run on the version of e-Sword for Windows, which uses the Operating system platform used on the PC and laptops running Microsoft operating systems.  Since e-Sword for windows version 11, (July 2016), .bbli, .cmti, .devi, .dcti, .lexi, and .refi files will work on every e-Sword platform.  Only user files are OS-dependent.

joyjosiah777, you will first need to have loaded e-Sword for Android to your device. You will find the links on https://www.e-sword.net then access the LINKS option, then select e-Sword for Android, then follow the appropriate links and instructions.

Rick Meyers, the developer of e-Sword for Android devices, has provided answers to Frequently Asked Questions on his website, page https:// www.e-sword.net/android/faq.htm LINK:  https://www.e-sword....android/faq.htm Look under the heading HOW DO I GET MY PC E‑SWORD MODULES INTO E‑SWORD for Android? Rick Meyers's instruction is that, after you have transferred the required module to your Android device:
"Open e-Sword for Android, tap the menu button on the Bible view's top toolbar, then select the "Import" menu item. Browse to the directory where you copied the converted modules into and select them. The modules will be imported, but if there are any problems with a module it will be ignored."

A summary of the procedure that works, is on http:// www.biblesupport.com/topic/11746-e-sword-for-android-import-featurefunction/
