#18408 Needs update: King James Version - Original Language Bibliographic details

Posted by Scribe on 29 August 2013 - 08:37 PM

Good Evening!  It's hard to believe that summer is almost over and we're progressing well into this century, isn't it?  Thirteen years into this century so far - how quickly times passes.

Back on point:  FYI   The Module Robot is a selfish gleaner of eSword modules from around the Internet, a computer program, that acts like a little beagle hunting down rabbits out in the field.  The Module Robot just grabs whatever modules it can find - so if you seek to complain to the software program about quality control...  Well, like the beagle, it just sees the bunny (or module) in a myopically crippled paradigm that ignores quality.  If the software module is built for eSword, than Module Robot seeks ownership.  We, thee & me, are left to our own devices in application of cognizant understanding since the Robot is an idiot savant.

If ... A merry heart doeth good like a medicine... and it does, LarryG's explanation about "Module Robot" has given me a proper dosage. I'm still giggling just thinking about it while typing. Thanks LarryG, I really needed that!

#18068 Modules-Help

I don't know what you mean when you say e-Sword.  Is that the website?  Is it a program on my computer?  Sorry to be so ignorant, but I just am:)

Thank you ever so much for your help!  God bless you!

Colleen

Hi Colleen,

e-Sword is a program which reads (makes viewable) the modules which can be downloaded from this website.

I'm wondering, did you or someone else install the program e-Sword on the computer you downloaded the Jubilee Bible 2000 e-Sword module? If not you will need to do so. Look in the bottom left hand corner of the BibleSupport.com website you will see "? What is e-Sword" this may/will be helpful.

#12942 Passwords on Modules

Posted by Scribe on 07 October 2012 - 11:39 PM

There was a user-created utility program that would automatically password protect resources, when one saved them.

jonathon

This sounds like the user would have knowledge they were doing so though, correct?

#12941 Chuck Smith Commentary

The download for "Smith, Chuck - Through the Bible C2000 Series.zip" is in a zip (compressed) format, you may need to unzipped it if you have not already before e-Sword can read the module.

#12910 Passwords on Modules

Posted by Scribe on 06 October 2012 - 04:39 PM

In the past some users password protected their own module so that the content would not be changed. Most of those may have already been converted. If you do a search on this site you may find the module already converted and ready for download.

If they are premium modules you should contact the source you purchased them from. Please note that a few modules that were not premium in the past have now become so.

There was no way that I know of for a user to accidentally password protect previous modules, so it's nothing that you could have done with out knowing.

If you have a list of the modules you are experiencing questions with you could post them and someone here can probably give you more help

A Time to Speak, Vol. 2, Articles Exposing Common Errors in the Church Today

In the Old Testament God gave Ezekiel the responsibility of acting as a watchman to guard spiritually the people of Israel (See Eze 33:1-10). The "watchman" today is suppose to be our spiritual leaders (Act 20:28). In the last twenty years or so I have observed false doctrine creeping into the church so undetected that it was hard to notice. "And those false teachers will teach in a way that will be hard for you to see that they are wrong" (2Pe 2:1, Easy-to-Read Version). As a result spiritual destruction and ruin has come to many individuals (2Pe 2:2). It is now the time to speak out, for the Apostles Paul declared, "For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths" (2Ti 4:3-4; New International Version).

Articles include: What does it mean to be in "Error?" "What does it mean to be in "Heresy?" "How did the early NT believers understand the Scriptures?" "Sound Doctrine" "What does justification without sanctification look like? The Church Today" "Disciples or Christians?" "Confession of Sin" "Are some Ministries Robbing God?" and many more.
