I've used biblesupport.com to download a couple of commentaries successfully, but I have not been able to download Chuch Smith's 2000 commentary. It downloads fine to the e-sword/x86 library, but when I open e-sword ver. 10 it does not show up in the list of available commentaries.

Any ideas what my problem may be?

Thanks,
Al Young

Al....
Have you tried this yet.....at the very top of the E-sword page you'll find the words- file..bible.. commentary.. dictionary..tools..options: click on "options". On the drop down click on "resources". You'll get a pop-up window....scroll down under the commentaries column and see if you find it listed there. If you do see it listed....then be sure that it has a check mark in the little box to the left of the commentary name....if it doesn't have a check mark....then click on the box,,,,and go to the bottom right corner of the pop-up window and click on "OK". The commentary will appear shortly in your commentary window along with the rest of your commentaries. If for some reason it doesn'tappear... just close and re-open E-sword...it'll be there .

Thanks Dartmaster I had not thought of checking that resource box yet, but the Chuch Smith commentary was not listed. I cannot think of why it would be in the library having installed yet not available to app.

Thanks anyway..

The download for "Smith, Chuck - Through the Bible C2000 Series.zip" is in a zip (compressed) format, you may need to unzipped it if you have not already before e-Sword can read the module.

Thank you Scribe. It did not appear as a (zip) file, but indicated that it was in a compressed format. When I right clicked it did not offer me the opportunity to run pkunzip which I expected. But I had a e-sword bar at the bottom of my page that indicated it was a module installer. So I double click and it installed. Once I brought e-sword up Chuck's commentary was right along with my other commentaries.

Thanks all and God Bless
