Brethren, I have a question about how to tooltip a devotional file.

I have almost finished proof reading a devotional manuscript in OpenOffice. However, there are several references from the apocryphal books in this manuscript. Can someone tell me how to tooltip these references and then use T3 to construct the DEVX file? I've made several devotion modules for eSword in the past, but these apocryphal references have me stumped. Ideas?

Hi Make sure that your work is in Tool Tip Tool, Press e-Sword ToolTips at the Bottom left had . It will tool tip the entire doc. go to this link http://www.biblesupp...d__235#entry235 this will help you make your own modules

Yes, T3 does tooltip the entire document just fine - except for the apocryphal book references. Those it does not tooltip. When I cut/paste these neglected references from the apocrypha into a blank eSword topix module, then I can tooltip them by hand. But the T3 tool doesn't seem to want to insert the tooltip for the apocryphal book references. Perhaps I stated the problem poorly.

I am attempting to construct a DEVX module that has both KJV and Apocrypha references tooltiped with T3. How is this done?

Hi You would have to ask BH the maker of Tool Tip Tool to make a new version so you can tool tip the Apocrypha references. Check Him out on Members and send him a message.
It will be very helpful - I would like that also.

The solution to this problem was pretty straight forward.

After running the devotion through the T3 tool I did a visual scan to see which scriptures did not tool-tip. Then, pasting these references into a blank topic page I tool-tipped the references manually - then cut/pasted back into T3 in the appropriate spot. After exporting the T3 file as a DEVX module I doubled checked and all the references seem to endure the process. The problem was not the software tools, but the operator (me) didn't know what he was doing. T3 is a great tool.
