Can anyone help me regarding making a back up of my esword ipad study/topic notes.
Also, how can I copy them from ipad to my PC?

Any information I can find relates to moving from PC to ipad.

Thanks.

James.

As for me, I backup my iPad to iCloud.  So my notes, pictures, music, email are all backed up and can be retrieved from iCloud if I need to do that.  There may be a more specific way to backup just your study notes, using iTunes file sharing.  When I hook up my iPad and use the Apps section of iTunes, I see the following on my e-sword app: bookmarks.lsti, markupovli, study.noti and some other files.  So, it looks like there is a way to backup just your study notes, if study.noti file is what it sounds like it is.  I speak tentatively.

If I want to copy notes I make on my iPad to my pc, then I use the email feature and essentially send them to myself, open my email on my pc and go from there.  It is not straightforward, yet.

Thanks for the reply.
I am new to ipad and not sure about iCloud. I obviously have a bit of learning to do!
I knew that you could email yourself but did not know that the notes could be emailed.
Thanks again for the helpful detail.

Just had a look, I can email notes on a verse (study notes), but don't see how to email whole file with all notes?

This is a limitation on notes in the e-sword app. I do note taking in Pages app which is like a word processor for the iPad. I can export my entire file as one document or just a page in docx and pdf format.

Thanks again Jogirl, for taking the time to respond.
Hopefully esword will get the addition of a back up button.

Can someone describe in simple steps how to create study notes and how they link with the verses ?

Found it.
