Hello,

I apologize for my ineptness. I'm sure this is "pilot error". It seems I had successfully downloaded the module alright. But then the install wizard stated words to the effect it couldn't find my esword directory? I'm paraphrasing a little here. I still clicked the okay tab but then another error message asked me if I had E-Sword installed on my PC? My only option was to click the cancel tab.  A few hours ago I downloaded and installed Oswald Chambers "My Utmost For His Highest".. It went with out a hitch? Am I missing something here? Do I need to download the module installer each time I download or only once?

Should I re-do both module installer download and the KJV3 download and try again? Thanks for your patience.

Respectfully

Cowboy

Hello,

Did you use the Help > Reset e-Sword Settings command at some point?

If so, that does something unexpected that my Module Installer needs to function.

Do this:

Click Options from the main menu. And then click Resource. Click the file icon at the bottom of the Resources Options window, see red box in screenshot below.

Click the e-Sword folder. Click Ok.

Attached File  resources.jpg   77.2K   8 downloads

This re-establishes an e-Sword setting that e-Sword itself deletes when you use the reset command.

Thank you .. I went to my Esword and followed your directions. After clicking the small file icon in the lower right corner another dialog box opened up. Of the two options available were two tabs .. I clicked the okay button and got a message regarding browser location. The new location would be applied after I restart esword. I've closed and reopened esword .. now what? Should I re-download the module installer and the KJV3 Bible again? Or just the bible and follow the install wizar? Thanks sir.

Location shown = c\program files (x86)\e-sword

Now the Module Installer should work.
