I have a friend who has recently gone blind. Does anyone know of a link where I can download the NKJV in mp3 onto his mp3 player for him?

The files won't be in mp3 format, but rather DAISY format.

If they don't have it, then probably the only legal option is to purchase the CDs/mp3 from CBD. Other Christian, or even secular bookstores might have them, but since more than one person I know has gone broke saving money by purchasing their Christian material from CBD ....

FWIW, my favorite audio Bible is Inspired By .... The Bible Experience. The voice actors are African Americans, such as Denzel Washington, Blaire Underwood, Ertha Kitt, Monique, Natalie Cole, Angela Bassett, etc.

It might be easier to obtain a gratis copy of the NIV in Braille, than in mp3 format.

Thanks Jonathan. I appreciate your help. Since I posted my request here I have found the Gobible. It is not cheap but I don't mind spending the money for a friend. It looks like a great product for someone who is visually impaired, also possibly for those of us who aren't. The version I will get is over $100 but will allow his family to add other mp3 files (sermons, etc.) for him to listen to. Being unable to read, audio is really his only option for bible study.

Although the Firefighters site says it has both the KJV and NKJV I only sw the KJV available for DL, and the link for that was hard to see... http://server.firefi.../40_001.htm This should get you the DL.
