Hello all,  Does anyone know if the NKJV margin notes are available in esword anywhere? They don’t appear to come with the paid version of the NKJV module. Thanks.

At present, no one has provided an approved module for e-Sword on Bible Support including the NKJV footnotes. There are a number of alternative NKJV Study Bibles with footnotes, on the market today.

What do the footnotes in the NKJV [New King James Version] mean?
See the article June 13, 2018 on Bible Gateway.

I had an old NKJV bible in STEP format from a different bible software application, and it included the basic NKJV footnotes (but not all of the additional center-column notes that are available in some NKJV bibles).  I was able to use the Step2RTF utility to convert the NKJV bible to RTF and then use the e-Sword ToolTip Tool NT application to use the resulting RTF file to create my own NKJV commentary module with just the NKJV footnotes.  Like Olaf said, due to the NKJV copywrite, I didn't think it would be approved for me to provide my NKJV commentary module of footnotes.

I suggest that you contact HarperCollinsChristian Publishers, and ask permission. Explain for what date and version you have the information, and where you obtained it, and explain to them what e-Sword is and how it would be used and useful as accessed from the Bible Support web site. I suggest you mention to them that the NKJV is made available on e-Sword as a paid item. Additional information may be found by visiting the
Permissions page at https://www.harpercollinschristian.com/sales-and-rights/permissions/,
or by emailing the permissions department at https://permissions.harpercollins.com/
