I have not made this tool available.

I understand, can you recommend anything similar? The challenge is finding a search tool that will work on more that one verse at a time...

No. That is partly why I made my own tool.

Thanks BH, and should you ever decide make your tool available send me a PM. It'll be very useful and save lots of time.

Most of the list has a single reference. Some have many, such as "A lion". Some have a couple references. Here is an example:
The original: "...he preached the word unto them."
The "hits": Mark 2:2; Hebrews 4:2
Mark 2:2 KJV And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
Hebrews 4:2 KJV For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Note, Mark 2:2 is the best hit. But Hebrews 4:2, while not the best has the following: "unto them" and "word preached". There are several of these kinds of "close hits".

IF - IF - the references were from a single version of the Bible, this would be a simple thing to do. But that was not the case here. It was fun trying to look them all up. Trying to make a utility for general use would require a bit of development time.

May I ask how you do it? I'll probably have to work on another list.

This is where it helps to be able to write code in at least one programming language.

From within e-Sword:
  • ">Bible >Extended search"
  • Type the phrase is the first box;
  • Click on the book icon, (second icon from the left.)
  • Check the versions to be searched;
  • In the second box, drop down to "Search for the exact phrase";
  • Leave the third box, with the default "Bible" in the drop down box"
  • Click on the search binoculars. Icon on the top row at the far right;
  • Wait several minutes for each Bible to be searched;
