Dr. Pickering has done his translation from a Greek text he has discovered is the most accurate text out there. See his articles for his arguments to this end. He has spent years researching Greek texts to find the one that he believes exists that God has preserved with no errors. He says he's found it. I agree, he has.

Sure, we're interested. Do you know if Dr. Pickering has this translation in any other format? Maybe a format where each line begins a new verse? Not a huge deal, just one less thing to do in the conversion.Dr. Wilbur Pickering, a missionary colleague of mine, has completed an English translation of the NT that is worth getting into e-Sword, in my opinion. His translation is Open Source and easily downloadable from the following website:

Hi Josh,
Yes, I have the translation in MS-Word doc format. You can download it at this link. Please contact me by e-mail, if you would. Also, would you confirm that you have received this message. Thanks.

PS. I see that the Patchworkid has also said he could do the conversion. Do you work together, or what is your advice. Thanks. I will not contact him unless you are not free to do the conversion.

1. put it into Tool Tip Tool or
2. Best using Bible Template
Both ways the verses has to be in single lines (Keeping the number references. The footnotes at then end of each chapter can be put into a commentary (very nice) {Mat 1:1-25}.
Some verses has an intro that need to be put into the verse.
To Dan J - If you can help by putting Verses into Single lines {That would be a great help}. That is the longest part. The rest would be easy.
To make the cmt I copied the text from the PDF not the Word (I needed the Footnote#). I found out that I need to copy the bible (whole text) from the pdf so I can get the footnotes.
The PDF have to to be copied and paste into Tool Tip Tool (RTF)
check out the attachent: New Testament mat.zip 476.76K 8 downloads

Do you still need the verses separated as paragraphs in MS-Word? If necessary I could do this. --Dan

The cmt (notes) need to be copied from the PDF's to Tool Tip Tool so the numbers will show up. The Word doc numbers notes does not work in T3. Down load the Attachment and you will see what I did.
Due to me working on the Lange's cmt {which is a lot of work - taking a lot of time} I will not have much time to do this until I finish this cmt. So your help will be appreciated. - This is with all other work (modules to be worked on by me).
Thanks

Hi Dan J. Yes, please separate the verses to be in single line. If you get time copy all the pdf's to tool tip tool. (all the text needs to be in Tool Tip Tool [RTF].

OK, thanks. I'll see what I can do. My time is quite limited as I am pastoring a small church, as well as working for Distant Shores Media (DSM).

I am working on this Bible. I am also making a commentary to it (Foot Notes) that goes with this bible. It is taking more time than I thought due to the text is mixed up.
When it is finished it will look very good, But here is what it would look like: Pickering NT.zip 321.55K 11 downloads
You will see the footnotes numbers 1-8, 1 in the Bible and Cmt. This is done from the layout of the PDF's. I believe that it is from a new chapter. When the Bible and Cmt is finished, it will have more sets of numbers ex. - Mat 5 has about 3 sets of numbers (4-9, 1-15, 1-3). I put the text and scripture reference to the commentary verse.
Thanks
