Today, I opened up my eSword on PC and found out that inserting a table isn't working.

Attached File  1.jpg   34.57K   8 downloads

Attached File  2.jpg   10.01K   4 downloads

Attached File  3.jpg   31.46K   7 downloads

After I click on insert table and select the number of columns: 10 and number of rows: 10, and ok.

No table appears.

I went to eSword and did a reset.

I then uninstalled and reinstalled eSword, but the problem remains.

I contacted Rick about my problem, and he said that it sounds like a missing dll file.

Rick told me to do a repair on eSword, which I did, but it did not fix my problem, and Rick is no longer replying back to my emails.

Also, uninstalling eSword doesn't fully remove my settings. When I reinstall eSword, my custom settings are back.

I tried using IObit Uninstaller to fully remove eSword but the outcome was the same.

Some of the install files for e-Sword, install in the Windows virtual store which you can find here:

The location for the Virtual Store is as follows:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore
To easily access this location, paste the following path into the location/url bar in Windows Explorer:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore
This will automatically convert the %LOCALAPPDATA% variable into the local application data folder for the currently logged in user.

That did remove all my bibles and commentaries but my custom settings still remains.

Now inserting a table does something different.

The 1st image is what I get when I add a table.

Attached File  1.jpg   33.71K   3 downloads

The 2nd is what happens if I add a table right after the 1st one.

Attached File  2.jpg   56.18K   4 downloads

There is also an e-Sword folder located in your Windows Documents folder, that might need to be deleted before you do another install. I would also suggest downloading a new copy of the e-Sword installer, as you could be installing from a file that is damaged or corrupt

I always download a new copy of eSword from their website when doing a fresh install.

I reached out to Rick again and he said this, "Maybe go back to the Draft view mode, instead of Page Layout, and you will see your table. You can also include borders to assist you in viewing the table."

The results that I got:

Changing Page Layout causes the table to not display at all.
Setting borders has no effect regardless of Page Layout.

The only thing that has changed on my computers is that I have received a lot of Windows 11 updates, but I'm not sure if Windows updates can cause a problem like that.
