Is there a way to edit a custom tag after tagging verses?

So, exactly what is it you want to do?

• Move the tag to an order you want?
• Have either a descending\ascending order?
• Alfa/Numerical listing?
• Give the Tags an individual look e.g. different colors or pretty flowers? ( you may just never know what is in the mind of a person in what he/she may want to do.)

Moreover, which e-Sword edition are you using?:

• e-Sword (PC)
• e-Sword LT (iPhone)
• e-Sword HT (iPad)
• e-Sword X (Mac)
• e-Sword Android

A Tad more information just might be somewhat what helpful so that we are able to help you.

Thank you.  I just wanted to rename a tag for now.  But having unique color for the tag would also be nice and/or having an auto highlight too.

 

I have e-sword for ipad.

I have e-Sword on my Droid device, and I don't think that its all that dissimilar to either e-Sword LT or HT.

 

That said, I had a play around with the Tag bit, and the news isn't all that crash hot. In fact its pretty bad. Tags are not customizable in any form shape or size, and that also includes not being able to rename them, change colors, and etc. You only have the stock standard subject/topic headings, and that's about it.

 

But that said, I don't think the cause is totally lost, because all that needs to be done is for you need to do is make a suggestion to Rick Meyers, asking him to make tabs to be customizable and editable.

On the Android version there is a way. Go Options -> Custom Categories

Only guessing, but I would expect similar on iPad.

Weird thing is that I've never seen that "Custom Categories" menu item. I gotta be blind as a bat, all be it that fruit bats (AKA flying foxes) can see, or otherwise just never took any notice of it
