Josh,
  • I think in bullet points
  • I write in bullet points
  • I preach in bullet points
  • shouldn't every one communicate in this fashion?

Under these conditions, I would guess that my success rate is better than 90%. In fact, it's probably closer to 100%.

One other thing that helps your sucess rate, is that you are already distributing content that is congruent with the content that you requesting permission to reformat and distribute.

I'm not sure if that synergis works for BibleSupport. OTOH, it takes some serious searching, to find the content here that is radically discongruent with the majority of resources on this site.

I would like to see a module made of Dr. Ted Hildebrandt's Digital American Standard Version (2011). It is copyrighted, yes, but he offers it free from the internet. Perhaps one of the programmers among us (I'm not) could ask Dr. Hildebrandt if it could be turned into an e-Sword module?

There is no copyright to this version (website says "totally free...and without restrictions"), and it is on my "to-do" list, behind a couple other Bibles that I'm working on for translators.

Give me a few weeks to get the other projects done and I'll get started on it (unless someone else wants to do it).

There is an e-Sword module available for the writings of Tertullian.  Try the Ante-Nice Fathers, Volume 3.  This can be downloaded from within e-Sword by opening on the Download menu then Reference Books.  I believe that most, if not all, of the surviving records of Terullian are found there-in; including The Apology.  I have provided the Table of Contents below:

Part First
The Apology
On Idolatry
The Shows, or De Spectaculis
The Chaplet, or De Corona
To Scapula
Ad Nationes

Book I.

Book II.

Appendix, Fragment
An Answer to the Jews
The Soul’s Testimony
A Treatise on the Soul

Part Second
The Prescription Against Heretics
The Five Books Against Marcion

Book I.

Book II.

Book III.

Book IV.

Book V.

Against Hermogenes
Against the Valentinians
On the Flesh of Christ
On the Resurrection of the Flesh
Against Praxeas
Scorpiace
Appendix. Against All Heresies

Part Third
On Repentance
On Baptism
On Prayer
Ad Martyras
Appendix. The Martyrdom of Perpetua and Felicitas
Of Patience

That was it exactly....  THANKS.,

You are welcome.

Now if only someone would provide a corrected volume four of the Post-Nicene Fathers. What is currently listed as such, is in reality volume four of the Ante-Nicene Fathers.

~heavy sigh~

Working on this one right now. Should have it done in a few days if nothing else comes up.

I have noticed a lack of modules from the Eastern Tradition (Greek, Russian and so on orthodox churches.) Perhaps there are some but I don't know of them.
Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, (Jeremiah 9:23-24a)

"Defenders of the faith are inclined to be bitter until they learn to walk in the light of the Lord. When you have learned to walk in the light of the Lord, bitterness and contention are impossible." --Oswald Chambers, in Biblical Psychology from The Quotable Oswald Chambers.
