You can run MySword on Windows using a program called Blue Stacks which is an an Android Emulator
Hi Higgsy,
When using Samsung's Galaxy Android devices, whether it Galaxy phones or Galaxy tablets, Blue Stacks in not a requirement as these devices have (in partnership with Microsoft) apps that will connect them directly and link to Windows, and as such run these devices on Windows.
If you have a look in your Windows (10 and/or 11) Start Menu, you may see an app called "Phone Link." This app will connect your Samsung Galaxy phone to your Windows device. Check to see if you have that app installed. If memory serves me correctly, I think I did a video a few years ago, and plonked it up on here.
Another thing too; if you go to your Windows settings, you will see an icon of a mobile phone with the title, "Phone," and the sub-text, "Link your Android, iPhone." And from there you can turn on your Phone Link app.
As to Samsung's Galaxy tablets, they use a different app that will connect it to Windows. I haven't got a clue what that is called.
With that said, Blue Stacks will come in handy for non Samsung Galaxy devices.
Trust you find this information helpful.
Blessings,
