Problem making .bblx using ToolTip NT

Not sure what else may be wrong, but I believe the above should be:

÷Mat 1:1 ΚΑΤΑ ΜΑΘΘΑΙΟΝ 1 [soft shift-return, not a hard return] 1:1 Βίβλος γενέσεως Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ υἱοῦ Δαυὶδ υἱοῦ Ἀβραάμ.¶

When I hold Shift and then Press Enter it looks like the below.

Are you writing that it should look like this.

What do you mean by [soft shift-return, not a hard return] ?

I only have an "Enter" key on my keyboard.

Also, I only have 2 Shift keys on my keyboard and both of them do the same thing last time I checked.

What is soft shift-return and hard return?

You need to be more specific as I am not understanding your terminology here.

Hi

shift and return makes a soft break. You use that for chapter headings
You will need the mark (÷) Mat 1:1 Kata ... (soft break)
add each verse with uour Greek text

Can you or somebody else write (specifically) how a basic .bblx file should look like just as an example say, three lines of text from Matthew.

I'd like to see three lines shown to me.

So that when I do the exact same thing it will show up in my eSword.

Then, I should be able to do the rest.

I ask this because I'm still not understanding any of you.

I have read the Bible module section in that ToolTip NT .pdf and it DOES NOT show in detail a step-by-step process specifically for making a .bblx file.

I personally think it would benefit the community who would like to start getting into making modules for eSword if somebody would take the time to post a video specifically showing a step-by-step process on this matter.

If it's that simple then somebody who can do it so easily should be able to whip up a detailed step-by-step video and post it on YouTube.com or Vimeo or some other place  since the account for the video hosting website is FREE.

There's only four issues I have with Biblesupport.com.

1) Certain people DO NOT take the time to write a detailed description of their module let alone spell it out instead of using acronyms people have to search for the meaning to. You took the time to make the module or copy it from somebody else so take the time to advertise it for other people who might view it.

I see HOT and am like ""What is that?", Oh Hebrew Old Testament (After searching). No picture to promote it just a brief vague text. I think that if you're going to do something for others that is to be known then atleast go all out with it.

I would be nice to see the module spelled out so it's understood and when you click on it and there's a picture to show you what it looks like in eSword with a detailed description of who wrote it, what year it was published, is the copyright public domain.

It's no wonder so many modules here have either 0 views or 0 comments. Not all but there are plenty.

2) Certain people DO NOT show an image of the actual module in work, the text, picture, ect.

3) Lack of manuscripts like what Accordance and Logos ect. have in their software.

I personally am interested in the root of version not somebodies bias, prejudiced, and/or erred interpretation.

4) Lack of website instructional video's to promote what's on the actual website.

I mean think about it, surely there's enough server space to include a section for How-to video's.

You don't have to allow comments to the video like YouTube.com does since if they have questions they can go to the forums.

How-to make modules.

It's a privilege to have video hosting websites that show educational video's on How-to so I think it would benefit this website greatly.

When I mention "Educational video's" I mean repairing your vehicle, Christian Apologetic s, Christian studies, how- to rock climb, martial arts, diet, exercise, cabinet making, construction, ect.

Maybe I just expect to much!

Keep in mind that for those of you who can whip up a module for the eSword community really fast (faster than others) it is not so easy for somebody who is new to trying to do the same thing.

I could probably strip a road bike (bicycle) completely down and put it together faster than some of you but many of you might not know that much about how to put a bike together properly.

The right thing for me to do is to show you hands on how to do it and then watch you do it and correct you along the way until you are able to do it yourself with no help from me or anybody else.

That's what I'm looking for here. Somebody to show me specifically how to it instead of showing me half of it.

I'd like to try and make at least one really good eSword module for the community (NOT the NA28 as that is copyrighted).

Something nobody has uploaded but I'm trying to learn how to do it first.

I copied your example and pasted it in ToolTip NT.

When I went to create it and then check eSword program itself below is how it shows in the actual program.

You example below.

That's it, nothing else shows up in the eSword program.

It will not register the Greek either for some reason.

Also after creating it a syntax error message appeared plus a bad reference towards the Greek you posted.

Almost all the Greek letters were in question marks (?).

I tried doing this way too.

I can click on "Mat 1:1 Book of Matthew 1", "Mat 1:2, Mat 1:3" and the they appear in brown highlight but the "Mat 1:1 The book of the....." is not clickable.

Both of the Mat 1:1 are not in line with eachother also.

I used the soft-return after Mat 1:1 Book of Matthew 1.

I did just as you showed in your example and the Greek text does not appear.

I used the the soft-return as you did in your example but it misaligned the text.

I used your example first and the Greek did not appear in the eSword program and only "Mat 1:3 your text here" appeared.

I tried it the second way and although it worked the text for the second line was misaligned due to using that soft-return you advised to use.

I DID NOT use soft-return nor did I use an extra Mat 1:1.

I just started with the first verse.

Josh, are you sure you're using the new ToolTip NT?

I did the method you showed exactly and it did not turn out correctly.

What I need to now is how to add a title at the top of the page in the middle of it, add a space between the title and the proceeding text underneath of it and how to make the Greek font show up correctly instead of question marks.

Example,
