I do local shares for study and topic notes; however, I do not know where the Navigator Bookmarks are stored in order to share.

Currently using e-sword 11.2.2

Thanks

That's what I thought; the study and topics were correct, but not the bookmarks. I wonder if the bookmarks.lstx refer to something other than the Navigator Bookmarks?

I'll keep checking, maybe I missed something.

Sorry I was thinking of verse list.....

The Bookmarks navigator info is stored in the registry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\e-Sword\Settings

Thanks; I guess those bookmarks cannot be locally shared.

The actual bookmarks file can be found in the following directory on Windows PC's:

C:\Documents\e-Sword\Bookmarks.lstx

Since only one instance of the file can be used with each installation of e-Sword, sharing file between users will cause the users original bookmark file to be overwritten.

I realize that; the topics and study notes are on a shared folder; which are then copied to each station's User Files Location.

In my case; I use different stations and am able to update the stations.

One desktop, one laptop, one Linux (Wine); Navigator bookmarks cannot be shared as they are located in Regedit.

Make a new topic file called "Bookmarks" with the verses in it and share that?

That's a thought; also, one could add the navigator bookmarks to the verse list, which could then be shared from bookmarks.lstx
