update: e-Sword files now synchronize with ETCBC dictionary in PC version

new uploads at: https://github.com/e.../master/e-Sword

new description: https://github.com/e...word/README.md

... please read it, dictionary lookup in different platforms (Mac / iOS / PC) slightly vary (... same files though)

new screenshots attached here.

remarks: I think current PC version of e-Sword are yet to fully support html modules, mixing of Hebrew and English text behaves unexpectedly in display.  ... hope Rick may address the problem.  the html rendering in e-Sword X is perfectly fine.

And the Jews will disagree. I just had to say that :D for no other reason than it just was there to say ;).

Blessings,

Stephen,

I've learned that the word "Jew" has less (to nothing) to do with ancestral heritage, and more to do with those who are unbelievers. Such was the case with the Jews (naysayers) in the days of Jesus.

By the way, thanks for the good fun!

Blessings to all...!!

version 2.0 now supports direct lookup of Hebrew words with ETCBC.dcti

one good thing I like is that there are alternate options for readers where different set of information are given to words of same spellings and vowels.

readers can decide themselves according to context

here is an example, illustrating difference between phrase-dependent part-of-speech (... depends on context in phrase level ...) and lexical part-of-speech.

a screenshot to illustrate a new feature in version 2.0 of e-Sword collection:

- supports analysis of different parts / elements in a single Hebrew word

- newly added morphology on pronominal suffix

update: e-Sword ETCBC dictionary is undergoing another update ... now cooking ... developers may find latest data in https://github.com/e...lytical-lexicon

...edit ... "BHS5m" in the screenshot had not been uploaded yet ... phrase and clause markers added ... verbs and proper names are highlighted in different colors ... not sure if anyone interested in this "BHS5m" ... at least very useful to me in parallel reading.

... may add a module on traditional interlinear view for Mac user in coming updates ... is it what you want?

I had just found description on transliteration set, which I used in BHS5i.bbli.  I found it useful ... share with you here ... https://rawgit.com/E...no/phonoTf.html

I was looking for this answer below:

Ketiv-qere

We base the phonetics on the (vocalized) qere, if a qere is present. The ketiv is then ignored.

...
