I was looking for eSword for Android and found these sites that offer it for download. I haven't tried them yet because there isn't a lot of information about them on these sites, and I don't want to install something malicious on my computer. But if someone has downloaded used any of these I would like to know.

If these aren't legitimate, and there isn't and there isn't an Android version of eSword, is it very difficult or complicated to convert my many and varied eSword modules to Android MySword?

There isn't, as yet, an Android version of e-Sword, nor does there seem to be any movement towards  one.

The reason generally given is that My Sword is sufficiently similar to e-Sword in function and utility that there is no need for one.

My Sword cann be downloaded here http://mysword.info/  and mySword modules are availible on this site.

I have not given up hope, however, since it was not that long ago that there was no "I" version availible.

Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, (Jeremiah 9:23-24a)

"Defenders of the faith are inclined to be bitter until they learn to walk in the light of the Lord. When you have learned to walk in the light of the Lord, bitterness and contention are impossible." --Oswald Chambers, in Biblical Psychology from The Quotable Oswald Chambers.

Here we go, just copy and paste these into your browser as they are and they should take you to at least two sites that claim to have eSword for Android.

It's not real. It's merely data-scrapers and spammers. There is no "e-Sword" available in the Android Playstore. The links above also don't link to an app called "e-Sword". Instead, it's just spam and data scraped from other websites to get search engine traffic.

MySword remains the only viable option for Android if you want compatibility with our resources.

Sorry, I've deleted the links from my message. I hope they didn't cause any problems for anyone.

Thank you for this helpfulness. The MySword Android app isn't as well laid out as eSword. In fact, it seems not very well thought out.

I'm very keen on the etymology of Biblical words and expressions and linguistic analysis. The closer I can get to the original expressions and words used by those inspired to pen the scriptures, the closer I can get to hearing what the Auther of the Bible really said. Sometimes I think there is too much emotionalism in religion today that clouds the messages, Peter made this mistake until Jesus told him straightly. The quicker an application takes me to a reliable explanation to help me see connections is what makes me the happiest.

I have many volumes of books on my bookshelves for Bible reasonings.

I know what you mean.  Having the Morphology for the Greek in additon to the Strong's Numbers helps a lot, wish there was an equivilant morphology/parsing module (with Bible keyed to it) availible for the Hebrew.

hi Tim, can you please give me an example of what you mean about the Hebrew?

I might be able to make something that will help you.

Thanks
