We use MySword to enable indigenous communities to view Bible text in their own languages on their smartphones. However, data coverage is sparse in the area and I'm attempting to come up with a easy way to transfer Bible files between devices while offline.
Has anyone had success or know of a way to package a .mybible file into an .apk or other type of Android installer file? Ideally this single file could be transferred to another device via Bluetooth and run, depositing either 1 or several .mybible files in the /sdcard/mysword/bibles folder. Obviously the files could be transferred manually to the correct folder, but I'm trying to make it fool proof as possible so the process can be used by anybody, regardless of technical abilities.
