In Tooltip Menu:
Scripture then Tooltip to mark and highlight Scripture references.
Then in document I select all and then do autofill which puts the entire scripture in the documents right at the Scripture reference. [Scripture reference was in parentheses. example (Rom 1:1). After saving document as rtf and then opening in word processor it will look like this.
for the sins of the whole world.
).
At the end of the verse it kicks the parentheses mark to the next line [reference originally was in parentheses]
If reference was not in parentheses then it will just kick down a period to the next line if the reference had a period at its end. example Rom 1:1.

This is small potatoes but does look distracting in the rtf document. Are there any work arounds for this problem.
Thank you.

Are you saying that after doing an auto-fill, that it is correct in T4, but after saving it and opening it in another program that appearance changes?  Does this also happen when you do a copy and paste from T4 to the other program?

I tried your example above with (rom 1:1) using the auto-fill and saving it.  The opening it in MS-Word.  Worked fine.  Copy and paste worked find.  You will need to explain the issue more and perhaps provide sample files, pre and post, also noting the copy style of the macro setting such as including character formatting or not, and explicit steps used to reproduce the problem.

I open a rtf file in Tooltip then use Scripture tooltip to give all references in colored font and highlight. All is fine.
Then select all for entire document. Then use autofill to insert Scriptures to the references.
Autofill does not work unless I select all in document. It does work if I select just one verse reference then hit autofill. But I'm looking to do all references, so I select all for entire document.

I then have the problem mentioned, both viewing in Tooltip and after saving in Tooltip [and reopening in Tooltip]. Also if I copy from Tooltip and past into Microsoft Word [using Microsoft Word97]. And after saving it in Tooltip as rtf and then opening rtf in Microsoft Word.

I do nothing else within Tooltip except as mentioned. Maybe this is the problem. I've included the original document. And the document saved as an rtf from Tooltip. Thanks for your help, hope I've made this clear. My wife often has difficulty understanding what I'm talking.

Not sure how to attach files to post for you to view.

OK - I see now that this is partly version dependant.  KJV will have the problem, but AKJV does not.  e-Sword is returning scripture references with a trailing line-feed/new-paragraph character.  I'll look at this...

BTW - if it did not look right in T4, it is not going to change by opening it in MS-Word.  I initially thought you were saying that things looked right in T4, but then changed when you opened them it MS-Word which did not make any sense to me.
