Is there a limit to the number of Bible translations you can use on e-sword? There have been times when I've downloaded a new translation or translations, and then I will find older downloads missing. So, I'm wondering if there is a maximum limit of how many various translations you can use with e-sword? Thanks.

I have 98 Bible modules (though I don't load more than most of the time), if there is an upper limit I haven't heard about it.  What are some of the modules that have disappeared?  Are they still in your e-Sword directory?

Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, (Jeremiah 9:23-24a)

"Defenders of the faith are inclined to be bitter until they learn to walk in the light of the Lord. When you have learned to walk in the light of the Lord, bitterness and contention are impossible." --Oswald Chambers, in Biblical Psychology from The Quotable Oswald Chambers.

The tab for certain translations no longer show up and then when I go to the resources - options where you can delete a module, it shows that they are no longer there. Some of the modules have been (but not limited to): Riverside NT, Montgomery NT, Moffatt NT, etc.

How many Bibles do you have installed?

One issue that can arise is if two Bibles have the same tab name. e-Sword loads one and ignores the other, with no notification that there's a problem.

Another issue is e-Sword alphabetizes tabs in an unexpected way. After removing or installing resources, I've found it difficult to re-learn where specific resources are. Maybe this is happening in your case.

The reason is the tabs are not alphabetized from left to right, starting on the first row. Instead, tabs are alphabetized starting on the left side of the last row. And then moves upwards, with each row's sorting restarting on the left.

I've had a number of users tell me they've "lost" resources when it's just the resources aren't sorted like they would have thought.

Tabs are sorted not by the Tab name, but by the FILE name.   Go figure...     Example, I have a file names "uMod3-1.bblx".  The tab name is GEInt+.  It appears right after the Bibles which start with a "T".  So, you want to have a specific tab order, renames your files.

Right, I forgot about that because my tab names are generally the same as my filenames.

But even then, the sort order is from bottom to top, starting again on the left. I would expect it to be top to bottom. I get confused occasionally because it sorts opposite the way I read (i.e. don't read from bottom to top).
