I downloaded E.W. Bullinger's Companion Bible files, but Windows can't open cmtx, mapx or dctx files. Can someone please help me access these files? Thank you.

Do you have e-Sword installed?

If so, then use the e-Sword Module Installer to copy the files you mentioned to the right folder: http://www.biblesupp...ler-04-updated/

Thanks, Josh, for your quick response. CBNotes and CB-App are available in e-Sword. I think I may have misunderstood what these files were when I downloaded them. I was searching for an online or downloadable version of Bullinger's Companion Bible to read. Apparently that is not what these files are, but they are just modules to be used with e-Sword. I will continue to search for the Companion Bible, but in this process I have discovered a very valuable resource; e-Sword looks like a phenomenal tool for my continuous study of the scriptures.

I use the Bullinger modules. (http://www.biblesupp...s-and-graphics/)

They are Bible independent; meaning you can use them with the Bible of your choice.  You just need to have the dictionary and commentary windows visible and not docked. The little chain link icon below the dictionary and commentary tabs must be pressed as well.  That synchronizes the Bible verse with the dictionary/commentary.

Hope this helps.

Bullinger's Companion Bible is available here http://www.biblesupp...bible-1909bblx/

It shows up in the Bible tabs as CBr.
