No, not really. That said, one thing I know is that all databases basically behave the same whether they are relational or Object Oriented.
Now, going the other way from e-Sword to TheWord is easy. Super easy. Because TheWord displays chapter topics based on data in the database, rather than using an alphabetical sort "system".
So, on that, like I said, "I realize that there is no one simple solution to this," but if we take MS Office files to OO files conversion (includes all file formats) with extremely little loss of format (basically nearly all the format is retained), then one has to seriously consider the possibility of being able to convert The Word formatted files to e-Sword format with extremely little format loss. So, comes the million dollar question, How do we do this programmably in an application? Its not a question of can this be done, because it can be done, we just need to figure out how it can be done from The Word to e-Sword.
