I wish too ,,Preachers homiletical commentary,,
http://www.archive.o...diatype%3Atexts

Overview

For more than a century, the Preacher’s Homiletic Commentary has shaped the trajectory of expository preaching and defined the role Bible commentaries play in sermon preparation. As a commentary written by preachers for preachers, the Preacher’s Homiletic Commentary is uniquely designed to foster the kind of biblical study that produces engaging and clear sermons. For every chapter of the Bible, the commentary contains a section on preaching themes, which are organized topically, conceptually, and chronologically. Significant theological themes are also outlined for each section of the Bible, and homiletic notes are provided. The authors have also solicited and summarized commentary from a wide range of contributors to Biblical, historical, and theological scholarship, drawing from the collective wisdom of those who understand that good preaching has its origin in Biblical study. This work ranks among the few Bible commentaries that remain practical and accessible without compromising scholarship, making it an integral part of sermon planning and preparation.,,

I was reading this today. Its a good commentary and easy to read.

Some other often overlooked commentaries I've used are the Century Bible commentary. And Peake's Commentary. I think both have been rewritten and published in modern times. The original works are public domain now though. And good for reference.

There are a number of excellent dictionaries available for download from within e-Sword. Just click download from the main menu, click dictionaries, select the ones you want, and e-Sword will download and install them for you. There are also a number of excellent dictionaries here to download and install. Most of the best ones are rated by users and have good descriptions.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

What is the name of another dictionary module that functions as a Concordance--just like the King James Concordance" (KJC) does?

Would it be possible for someone to produce a module for Hermann Olshausen's Biblical commentary on the New Testament? TIA. I believe it is in the public domain.

I have an RSV bible module which does not seem to work in my IPAD E-sword HD after conversion, however, works in E-sword PC. What could be the problem? Please help.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that the converter works on premium (pay) modules or official modules distributed by Rick Meyers.
