#36580 Message Module

Posted by Bobs on 31 August 2019 - 04:44 PM

Has any one had the below problem in their Message Module? See verses 15, 16. Is it a fault or has my module been corrpted? Recently update to s-Sword 12. I have contacted eStudySource for an answer but would like to hear from others.

(Eph 6:13)  Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet.

(Eph 6:14)  Truth, righteousness,

(Eph 6:15)  peac

(Eph 6:16)  faitng

(Eph 6:17)  and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon.

(Eph 6:18)  In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

#34719 Problems with e-Sword version 11.2.2

Posted by Bobs on 20 November 2018 - 03:09 PM

I have ver 11.1 and am quite happy with it. I have always been an early taker of updates of esword, but decided to be a bit slower this time. What does ver 11.2.2 offer over 11.1?

#31091 Question - What is the Unlocked Literal Bible?

Posted by Bobs on 26 July 2017 - 01:06 AM

Over the years I have changed my 'go to Bible'. I started many, many years ago with KJV - it was basically the only Bible we used in the denomination I was associated with. Learnt all my memory verses in KJV. Then I moved on to RSV - the reason being, a shop had a good deal on a RSV with study helps and it looked impressive and I enjoyed using it immensely.

Then came the NIV Study Bible which became my 'go to Bible' for many years. I enjoyed it very much and God used it to help me be more effective in my ministry as I studied and listen to the Holy Spirit speak to me through Scripture. Later I bought a nice NKJV Ultra Thin Reference that was going cheap at a sale in a bookshop. It looked nice and once again God spoke to me through the pages of this version as I spent time studying and reading from it.

Just recently I picked up a NRSV Bible from a second hand bookshop and I am enjoying tis version.

I have all these in e-Sword and feel blessed that I can rapidly switch between the various versions, compare the various versions and continue to hear God speaking to me through His Word.

I am 70 years of age, and have been a Christian since the age of 12 and it still excites me that God continues to reveal His plans for me, helps me to better understand His love for me and also the things He wants and requires of me - Bible Study and hearing from God is an ongoing process and makes life so rich and more than worthwhile.

Psa 25:4-5  Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

Psa 32:8  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.

Blessings

#28319 Line Spacing in 11.02

As someone asked before  - the space between lines in 11.02 is much larger, something I do not like. Is there a way to adjust this?
