#30316 ToolTip Strong's Number Font Size

Posted by Tj Higgins on 20 March 2017 - 02:16 PM

Im not understanding how to change strong's number color from purple back to hunter green?  The ToolTip NT program says that it is already 0 128 0 but the color remains purple?  How can I change this please.   I also have the color superscript underline set to 1 0 1.

Thanks

Tooltip has several built in toolbars as part of it's interface, one of these toolbars is the Tooltips tool bar which allows you to set and adjust color options for tooltips. If the tooltips bar is turned on the word Tooltips will be right below the File option on the main menu. If the word Tooltips is not visible in the tooltips interface, you will need to click the View option from the main menu which will activate a drop-down menu containing a list of all of the toolbars available in Tooltip NT.

Tool bars that are turned on will have check mark on left side of the drop-down menu if a toolbar is turned off there will not be a check mark. If the Tooltips tool bar is turned off, click it to turn it on. The Tooltips toolbar will now appear in the Tooltips NT interface allowing you to change the color of the all tooltips and strong's numbers, there are 16 color options for tooltips although most module builders prefer the hunter green color, some prefer other colors. The Tooltips tool bar also gives you an option to highlight tooltips using a selection of pastel colors

#29842 License

Can i use the e-sword modules in my own application? Thanks

I don't think there would be an issue with the free modules available here on Bible Support, however the premium or pay modules are another matter entirely. The premium or pay modules are licensed for E-Sword use through agreements made between E-Sword's creator Rick Meyers and the various publishers who publish the materials.

#29038 2016 ESV Permanent Text Edition

Posted by Tj Higgins on 03 October 2016 - 02:00 PM

ESV was updated to the 2016 version for e-Sword on the 30-9-2016

Jon

True but for those who have not yet downloaded the new version, the newest older version is the 2011 version, someone one here posted that they had a 2001 ESV module for E-sword. I also have the ESV module and while it says "Copyright 2001" it contains both the 2007 and 2011 text changes, thus it is actually the 2011 version of the ESV and not the either 2001 or 2007 edition.

#28955 T4 Question ("Save As..." .pdf)

Posted by Tj Higgins on 22 September 2016 - 04:40 PM

Hi, Brent,

I'm using an older version of T4 (2.31 - should I be embarrassed?) and tried for the first time ever to turn a module into a .pdf file. I went to the file menu, chose "Save As" and then .pdf. It created the file - but when I used Adobe Acrobat reader to look at it, there were only blank pages. I've attached the .pdf to this post.

Any recommendations on what might be wrong?

Alright this is weird when I open the file using the PDF reader in my chrome browser it actually works correctly, although with blurry text. However it will not open correctly in Adobe Reader??

#28562 2016 ESV Permanent Text Edition

Posted by Tj Higgins on 11 August 2016 - 09:37 AM

This morning at my office I just learned of the 2016 ESV Permanent Text Edition which the committee apparently will "freeze" for a while.  Can we get the e-Sword ESV module updated to this latest revision?

It would require permission from Crossway Bibles the company that publishes the ESV

#28238 Downloaded a bible from here and want it on my e-Sword

Posted by Tj Higgins on 17 July 2016 - 09:01 AM

not working for me. Ive downloaded  a zip file (HSB - Text + Interlinear + Strongs + Transliteration), got the thing (a bblx file) out of the zip, put it in the esword folder in Program Files, opened me esword (the very latest version, just updated), and its not there. Went to options-> resources, its nowhere there either... Can anyone advise?

You should download the module installer for e-sword it makes installing modules very easy

#28214 e-Sword 11 Released

Posted by Tj Higgins on 16 July 2016 - 09:48 AM

I have a couple of questions regarding version 11 of e-sword

1. Can it be installed separately from and older version say in a different folder or does it install directly over an existing install?

2. Can we possibly get some screen shots of the new version posted her on biblesupport.com?

Thanks

#27193 Post e-Sword Module Requests Here

Posted by Tj Higgins on 28 February 2016 - 01:03 PM

Thanks, I found the Bible but would still like to get the NKJV Bible Notes. Is that a proper request to post here?

Not sure about the notes but they may be copyrighted like bible and require permission to be made into an e-sword module

#26875 The use of Parallel and Compare

Posted by Tj Higgins on 22 January 2016 - 01:27 PM

Dear Jon, Thank you for the reply. But the 14 Bibles displayed are not the first in order. This means that I do not know which is the 15th. Moreover, the order of the 14 Bibles displayed are not the same order in the "options - compare" menue.

The bibles should be listed in alphabetical order by the tabs as shown in the bible reading window. You might have issues with the tabs which is causing conflicts with the compare function
