Hi Folks,
This might be a dumb question but, is there a bible version for E-Sword 10.4.0 that has the pericope built into it or has subject headings? If so, what's it's called or do you have a link to it?!
TIA,
Clint

Hi Folks,
I just update E-Sword from 10.4 to version 11.2.2 and when I go to my verse list, then select the PRINT option, the INCLUDE COMMENTARY NOTES selection is grayed out until I select a FORMAT OPTION, then when I go to the DROP DOWN LIST for the COMMENTARY NOTES it’s COMPLETELY BLANK even though I have DOZENS of commentary files listed and updated!
PLEASE, does anyone have a fix for this?
Thanks,
Clint

Hi Folks,
Does ANYONE have E-Sword version 10.4 FULL INSTALL or know WHERE I can get it?! I have the 10.4 UPDATE but NOT the FULL INSTALL file. I wrote to Rick about the matter but he never got back to me about the mater.
Thanks Much!!!

Yeah, it's not just you, I'm hearing this from a lot of people. I wish it weren't so because I can't update this website with the new version until 11.0 is widely accepted.
Well, I had the foresight to backup my older version on another drive before updating to the new version so, it was just a matter of dragging and dropping the older version into the directory. What can ya do, it seems this is the nature of software these days......Reminds me of an old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

Folks, I went back to version 10.4.0 because the new version isn't ready for prime time yet......... I do a TON of posting scripture online and not being able to paste correctly was driving me batty. When some of the bugs get worked out I'll try updating at that time.

Hi Folks,
I was wondering where the e-sword verse lists are stored on Win7 & Win 8 systems? I know on my XP setup there are stored here: C:\Documents and Settings\USER NAME\My Documents\e-Sword
Where do they go on the OTHER two OS's?
Here's why I need to know, I sent a friend my ENTIRE e-sword setup burned to a disk, I included the e-sword setup program along with MY ENTIRE E-SWORD DIRECTORY. I figure once they run the install file they can just go to the PROGRAMS FILE FOLDER and dump all MY FILES into the e-sword file folder. This will give them the basic setup but as to the VERSE LISTS, where would those go?
Thanks,
Clint

Thanks for the responses / Ideas!! What I did was to copy and paste the links into a FB chat window but i haven't had a chance to get back to them yet to see if that worked out for them.

I probably never exempted the .lstx extension. By default, all extensions are blocked on IPBoard and only those you specifically designate are permitted. The existing .lstx files were probably uploaded by the Module Robot, which is exempt from all restrictions.

I like the idea of looking elsewhere on the Internet for resources such as this. No law says you have to read it in e-Sword. You may find tremendous value elsewhere without needing permission to create for e-Sword. Atheism never resolves the issue of who came before this, and what came before that, as it repeats to infinity. And it doesn't allow for or explain the creation of time itself. And it doesn't account for how the human DNA software code "evolved".
I know several who buy Kindle books to convert to e-Sword format so they can view them with their other resources in e-Sword. To each his own, I suppose. Information is easier to manage that way.
I'll keep my eyes open for a resource about Atheism.
