Hi Folks,

I have several list files I've created for e-sword but I can't seem to find a way to upload them. When I tried I was told I was not allowed to do so. Sooooooooo, how would I go about sharing these files?

Thanks,

Clint

Click Downloads from the main menu. Then, click the green button, "Upload file".

Or, hover your mouse over the Downloads text on the main menu. A submenu appears. Click Share (Upload) a module.

Both take you to the same place.

I did that and it told me I was unable to share files of this type.

Hi Clint,
Of what type are you wanting to upload?

You are allowed to up load files with the following extensions:
  • zip
  • exe
  • pdf
  • all naked e-Sword file extensions
  • all naked MySword file extensions
Naked file extensions are those that are are just the filename with the particular module/resource extension, e.g., ASV.bblx, Barns.cmtx and etc.

They have the "lstx" extension and it won't allow those extensions to be uploaded......I'll PROBABLY have to zip the files or make one zip file with ALL of them in it.

"Lstx" extension but I get the message "You are not permitted to upload those types of files" message.....It's odd because when i go the VERSE LIST section I can see file with the lstx extension there.

Ok folks,

What I did was is I zipped my verse lists into one ZIP FILE since there are all so small. I included a txt file in the zip file WHERE MY VERSE LOCATION FOR E-SWORD is stored on my XP box. You MIGHT have to change that location if your verse lists are not stored in the "C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\My Documents\e-Sword" location. Feel free to edit the files anyway you like.

I probably never exempted the .lstx extension. By default, all extensions are blocked on IPBoard and only those you specifically designate are permitted. The existing .lstx files were probably uploaded by the Module Robot, which is exempt from all restrictions.
