I am attempting to print a document from my Notes.  I need to use the landscape format.  I can set it up on my printer but it cannot print it out that way.

Are you attempting to print from your Journal notes?  Study Notes?  Topic notes?

 

Are you trying to print using control "P" or the Print Preview -> Print?  (lowest set of icons at the top of the window shows a piece of paper with a magnifying glass)

 

You will get a pop up window in that pop up select the icon next to the printer icon (which is print) which looks like a piece of paper with red lines making a rectangle.

 

This will get you another pop up where you can a set size, source orientation of the paper and margins.  Select landscape there and it should take care of the problem.

 

Since control "P" send the page directly to the printer, I can only suggest you use the print preview -> Print route.

 

If you are using the print Preview -> Print then you need to select the

Thank you. Yes I am trying to print from my Study Notes. I access the printing from the print preview. I use a Dell Photo 924 all-in-one Printer. I am also trying to use 8 1/2 x 14 inch paper, but I am not sure that will work. My printer is set up for landscape and is working. Then I click on the print preview it shows the document in portrait. I then saw the page setup, but when I clicked on that, nothing happened. This last action is from the Study Notes.
Oh, by the way, your last post cut off, so I don't know what to "select"

Are you using the page set up (the icon right next to the printer) in the print preview pop up to set both the paper size (legal) and the the landscape option?

 

I'm not familiar with the printer, but make sure if it can be set for portrait or landscape that it is set to landscape (and legal size paper.)

 

I'm afraid that is about as far as I can help with.

I added to my last post but I am wondering if it got noticed.

 

I had called your attention to the fact that your last post was unfinished, so I did not know what to "select"

 

Also, my computer is set up for landscape, but when clicking on the Study Notes icon to preview, then when I click to change the layout on that popup icon, nothing happens.  I know there is something I am not understanding.
