Anyone have any clues why certain modules look absolutely horrendous? Is it just me, using eSword under Linux (doubt it) or are these modules really badly formatted (hard-coded fonts?) I've attached a screenshot to show what it looks like on my system, this is the "Proverbs Today" mod.

That module looks good on e-Sword for the PC. It's related to running e-Sword under linux.

Bummer. Some modules look ok. I suspect it has to do with my system fonts I'll try to figure it out.

Do you have Times New Roman installed?

Got it sorted. I grabbed these fonts from Sourceforge (http://sourceforge.n...fonts/files/the fonts/final/) and installed those using wine, which put them into /home/rosc/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts and now everything looks fine.

Still,  I had a folder "windows/FONTS" and that is full of the usual fonts (plus a fully loaded system font dir in /usr/share/fonts), but perhaps there's some subtle difference (cr/lf's maybe?) between the fonts installed with WINE, and the Microsoft fonts.

In any event, everything's working now. Thanks much for your help :)
