Changing the "look" of e-Sword

Is it possible to change the look or appearance of e-Sword.  I really tire of the bla-blue.  Compared to The Word it has a drab look,

I think e-Sword uses a pretty old Visual Basic application framework. I want to say the GUI looks like Visual Basic 6? Nothing we can do about that...

 

But there's one thing you can do to help e-Sword look more "modern". Change the default font to Segoe UI or Tahoma (Tahoma is a little darker, slightly bolder than Segoe UI). Change the size to 10. 

 

This does nothing for the old GUI framework. But I really like the more modern text look.

I also wondered why eSword looks so old. Wish we could have it look like a modern Windows program.
