Hi lads. I am aware that Calvin did not write a commentary for every book of the bible and i am aware of which ones he didnt write. I am also aware that he wrote his commentaries for the gospels in a harmony. I have found that many chapters from his books are missing. Maybe they werent there in the first place but i DO know that his commentaries on the gospels were extensive so when i find that Mark has only commentary for the first and last chapter i am annoyed!! Where are they? Are they stuck in with another gospel because of the harmony that he wrote??? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. I figured it out... Calvin harmonised both the gospels and the pentateuch. The commentary is only found on one section even if he is talking about 3 passages at once. so for example i am looking at the bit where Jesus blesses the little children in Mark 10. Esword has nothing for this or the corresponding passage in Luke 18 but it does have something for Mattehew 19 where calvin talks about this.

In other commentaries where a similar thing is done there is a note directing you to where the commentary can be found. Perhaps something for an update?
