Here are English translations of Targum Onkelos, Targum Jonathan plus a few other rabbinic texts. The translation is from 1860's so these texts should be Public Domain now. Anyone interested in turning them into an e-Sword module? The Targum modules already found on this site are in Aramaic and it takes a real professional to read them, but these English translations are interesting for anyone.

Hi Wilde,
Both Targums are already available here as bblx files. Also both Targums are available at http://www.forananswer.org as topic note files in both Hebrew and English editions.
The Targum Jonathon is not a Targum that was actually written by Jonathon Ben Uzziel, but has been ascribed to him. This Targum is known as the "Targum Palestine", is also know as the "The (Pseudo) Targum of Jonathon Ben Uzziel on the Pentateuch." The actual Targum that Jonathon Ben Uzziel had written was the Targum of the Nevi'im (Prophets) which is part of the Tanakh.
I trust this information is helpful to you.
Blessings,

I found these: http://www.biblesupp...onathanbblxexe/
http://www.biblesupp...onkelosbblxexe/
But they're in Aramaic, not English. The files I found at www.foranswer.org seem to be outdated .top files which are not compatible with the newest e-sword :-(

Hi Wilde,
Firstly, dealing with the Targums. Both Targum Onkelos, and the (Pseudo) Targum Jonathon (and the Jonathon Targum of the Nevi'im) are called Targums because (historically) they are translations from the Hebrew to Aramaic, and were created during the Babylonian Captivity. The Targums are not a total accurate translation of the Torah and Nevi'im as they have, as seen in the Pseudo Targum Jonathon with regards to the Sh'ma of Deu 6:4 (Shema Yisrael, Yahweh Eloheinu, Yahweh echad) and a six-word response is said in an undertone (Baruch shem kevod malkhuto le'olam va'ed). Its these kinds of undertone responses that have been added into the Targums.

Below is the list of the Targums and other works under the Aramaic list, and you will notice what is available for both versions 8 and 9. With what is only available in version 8 can be opened in the 10x series of e-Sword, and will automatically convert to a topx file. So you shouldn't have a problem with that (I've tried that and it works).
Targum Pseudo-Jonathan with Unicode Hebrew Characters e-Sword pre-version 9 e-Sword v9+
Targum Pseudo-Jonathan Transliterated version e-Sword pre-version 9 e-Sword v9+ May be a bbl and a bblx file
An Aramaic-English Lexicon of the TPsJ (keyed to Transliterated version, above) I imagine this would be a dct or dctx file
Targum Pseudo-Jonathan English Translation by JW Etheridge (formatted as a Topic File) Can be opened in 10x
Targum Onkelos with Unicode Hebrew Characters e-Sword pre-version 9 e-Sword v9+ May be a bbl and a bblx file
Targum Onkelos English Translation by JW Etheridge (formatted as a Topic File) Can be opened in 10x
Aramaic Standard English Version - Torah I imagine this to be a bbl file and will require conversion.
I hope that this information is really helpful to you. Aslo, if you click on the blue text, you can download them.
Blessings,

I tried these two files and copied the extracted .top files to my e-Sword directory. These topic files however don't appear in Reference library or the topic notes list. Should they or how can they be converted?Below is the list of the Targums and other works under the Aramaic list, and you will notice what is available for both versions 8 and 9. HI Wilde,
No they won't because they are top files. You need to ctrl+left click on the topic note editor, and in the Context Menu, click on the Open... menu item, and then in the File open Dialog, down the bottom in the drop down Combo box, select Old Topic Note Files (*.top), then go to where you plonked the old topic (top) file is and open it. Then there you should be home and hose.

Hi Jessica,
I tested the links and the main URL, and it appears that the site no longer exists.
Fortunately I've downloaded these Targums ages ago, and have kept them. These Targums:
- Targum Onkelos
- Targum Pseudo - Jonathon
Are in Topic Note (topx) format and will run on e-Sword version 9 and above, which includes the current version. So, I will be uploading them to here later on today or tomorrow, due to the fact I got one hectic day on my hands. So, keep an eye open for them.
By the way, files are contained in a SFX executable (exe) format, and you will need to install them into your e-Sword folder after downloading them.
Blessings,
