About this Bible

The Wikipedia Bible (aka the Free Bible Version) is an effort by a group of individuals to create an accurate, completely public domain Bible that can be constantly revised as needed. The project was started in 2006, but participation has been almost non-existent since 2008-2009. Though anyone can, at any time, work on the project and update it, the Wikipedia Bible Project appears to be permanently on hold. All of the books can be accessed and translated/edited here.

About the E-Sword Edition

The text for this edition was gathered from the Wikipedia source on 4-22-2012. If any major changes are made and brought to the module-maker's attention, they may be included in a future updated module. This module contains every part of the Bible that has been translated and uploaded to the Wiki site. But because the Wikipedia Bible Project is still unfinished, this module is also not a complete Bible.
