Anticipating your next issues:
  • Displaying nikkud in Hebrew;
  • Displaying cantilation in Hebrew;
  • Displaying breathing marks in Greek;
  • Displaying vowels in Greek;
My suggestion is to use combining glyphs, and ignore the precomposed ones.

Some resource creators will recommend using precomposed glyphs. Whilst this usually results in a more aesthetically pleasing output, search results from within e-Sword are much more consistent, and predictable, when combining glyphs are used.

I like and use precomposed as far as searching I don't think any one is better than the other if you use both combined and precomposed to search with you will get better results just my opinion

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Jonathon,
When you come through, Brother, you certainly come through. You just gave me the biggest answer I needed for inserting extra rtf code into modules I'm working on.

God love and bless you tons, stacks, heaps, lots, and oodles.

Blessings,
