I would like to create a bible module that includes the Gospel of Thomas, so I can do a parallel viewing of verses with the NT gospels. Does anyone know how I could get e-Sword to accept the Gospel of Thomas as a bible module, since it's not part of the canon?

cheat and create a module where you've inserted the Gospel of Thomas as a different book, like John. Otherwise, nope.

Doing that is going to make it extremely difficult for you to find the different stanzas of The Gospel of Thomas.

Much simpler to create it as a topical file.
Alternatively, create a commentary file that contains the stanza that corresponds to the verse in the Gospels.

In an ideal world, one would have a parrallel function for the reference library, that is similar to that found in the Bible component.

I've forgotten the name of the group that includes The Gospel of Thomas in its canon. It isn't Eclesia Gnostica. (Eclesia Gnostica Catholica is a different group that considers The Holy Texts of θέλημα to be canonical.)
