I have long used e-Sword as a Bible student and pastor, but I now work for a Christian ministry that has numerous commentaries and other material I'd love to see made available on e-Sword. I doubt I have the time or skills to do the work myself; can someone point me in the right direction?

By His Grace,

Don

What's needed most is people willing to make modules. We can teach you if you want.

I did a search on YouTube on how to create resources for e-Sword. There's lots about installing, downloading and other stuff about e-Sword. But guess what??? Nada, zilch, nothing, zero about how to create resources  using T4 (ToolTip Tool NT) , such as Bibles, Commentaries, and etc. I am totally gobsmacked, stunned, shocked, horrifried (done that deliberately), bemused, perplexed, and etc., etc., and etc., to find the poor old cupboard so bear of these kind of videos. I guess the doggy's not going to get its bone tonight.

Now, me thinks having something like videos which demonstrates the fine art of creating various resources for e-Sword would go a very long way. I know for a fact if that such videos were created and uploaded to YouTube,  would download them and use them.

Blessings,

That version shown and the video is way out of date, and is pretty much useless. So when it comes to the much (and I mean much) later versions of T4, that is what I'm pretty much talking about.  And as much as I hate to say it, well, the Nada, zilch, nothing, zero bit still stands.

5 Much's. Not bad.

Anyway, mate, thanks for giving it a go to find a video.

Blessings,

Stephen (Php 1:21)

While creating e-Sword modules requires technical expertise, you can still make your ministry's resources available! Explore these options:

  1. Contact e-Sword developers: Reach out to the e-Sword development team directly through their support channels. They can assess your resources and advise on the feasibility of converting them into modules.
  2. Seek community assistance: The e-Sword community boasts talented programmers and volunteers. Post on e-Sword forums or support groups, detailing your ministry's resources and seeking assistance with creating modules.
  3. Hire e-Sword specialists: Consider contracting experienced e-Sword programmers to handle the technical task of module creation. Discuss your budget and resource specifics to find the right fit.

Remember, adding to e-Sword's vast library benefits not only your ministry but also countless scholars and believers. Take the initiative, and your valuable resources may soon enrich the e-Sword experience for all!
