I'm looking for hints and tips to use eSword on a laptop in a screen-efficient way.

By that I mean making as much space available to the things I'm really reading.

That turns out to be a challenge.

More to the point:

a] How can I remove the 1, 2,... 0 vertical bar on the right of the screen?

b] When I hover over Strong numbers the definition pops up. But quite often it's so big it doesn't fit on my screen. SonG5207 in John 3:16 is a good example of that. Is there a way to scroll the popups?

c] Is there a way to hide the Strong numbers and get a Strong definition when pointing to a word instead of a Strong number?

d] Can I hide the scroll bar? I scroll using by mouse wheel so removing the scroll bar gives me that little extra wanted extra space for the actual text.

a)You can move the Editors window to the left margin.
And move the dictionary and commentary to below the Bible window.

b) You can make the "display resolution" higher in the "Display Setting" menu of Windows.
Or use smaller letters in the "toolTip Font Size" by Options/ "Font Settings" of e-Sword

c) No, e-Sword has no embedded Strong's.

For more efficient screen use you can

Set the tabs to a single line.

Use the icons at the top of the program B, C, D, E to just display each of the main windows full screen.

Thanks to all for the quick replies!
Not all I hoped for but I've reclaimed some screen space :-)
When I click something eSword usually finds something in commentaries and dictionaries, each having their own tabs. Is it possible to automatically hide the tabs without hits (without the blue exclamation mark)?
